Art is in the heart of Artcaffé and what other way would we share this than through the power of art and colour. The Art of the City challenge is giving us another chance to celebrate, inspire and uplift Kenyan creatives by giving you the greatest stage we have to offer to reach all corners of the city with your talent, craft and skill.

This year's challenge is in honour of International Women's Day! We're thrilled to launch the "HerStory" campaign and we hope that you'll join us in celebrating the incredible women who have shaped us. We believe that the stories of women who have made a difference in our lives deserve to be told. From mothers to sisters, wives to friends, we hope that by sharing their stories, we can inspire others to make a difference and to celebrate the achievements of women everywhere

Use colour & creativity to capture & illustrate the influence, accomplishments, and spirit of the unsung heroines in your life, showing how their impact inspires you.

The top three artworks and designs stand to win cash prizes, fantastic giveaways, plus a chance to have their name and design featured on Artcaffe's limited edition takeaway coffee cups, travel mugs & coffee bags.

Upload your original design or artwork and a brief write-up describing the story/ inspiration behind your creation with the option to share it on Facebook & Instagram, TAGGING @artcaffekenya using #ARTofthecity.

Follow us on social media to see if your design or artwork is shortlisted!

Kindly note the details below:

• Entry submissions close on 6th April 2023
• We will select and announce the winners in early April 2023
• We will feature the best 3 designs or artworks on our limited edition coee cups, coffee bags, and travel mugs around the city for up to 12 months.
• Any creative person can enter - age 18 to 40, featuring any craft (design, painting, drawing, photography etc.)
• Artwork can be outside the cup format - there are no limits to how participants display their art, i.e. if your craft is painting on canvas, you can submit this, and if you are shortlisted, the Artcaffé design team will help transfer the artwork onto the coffee cups or into the coffee cup template.
• Multiple submissions are acceptable.
• The public will have the opportunity to cast their vote for their favourite design or artwork in the people's choice award. All participants are encouraged to share their submissions on social media, tagging @ArtcaffeKenya with #ArtOfTheCity2 to qualify for the people’s choice category.
• Ensure to enter your correct contact details.
• All qualifying participants will be contacted via email and our final winners will be announced on our social platform.
